Kia ora and welcome to our Dargaville Intermediate School website. My name is Terrianne Takulua (nee Tane). I am a mother of two boys- Hanita and Braxton. I was born in Rawene (Hokianga) and lived in Waimamaku in my early years before moving to Te Kopuru and then Dargaville. I attended Selwyn Park Primary, Dargaville Intermediate School and Dargaville High School. It gives me great pleasure to be appointed Principal after spending my whole teaching career here and growing up here in Dargaville. As a school, will be working closely with the community over the next few years to help us work towards our goals for our kura and our tamariki. Dargaville Intermediate school has always worked hard to provide students with the right tools to be able to successfully move onto their secondary education. We work within a biannual learning overview and by utilising our local resources, we hope to give them learning experiences that will serve them for life. I am excited for what's ahead for our school and I look forward to meeting you all soon.
